Stretch phosphate coating
Stretch phosphate coating is a type of zinc phosphate that is di or tricationic and is suitable for the manufacture of CNG cylinders. In fact, this type of phosphate creates rough crystals on the metal surface, providing a very good substrate for storing oil or traction powders.
After phosphating, these powders are used to easily carry out the process at very high pressure. In cases where we have to use seamless steel pipes, we can make the best use of this coating. Converting a steel surface to a phosphate coated surface allows the surface to have a smooth and fluid state. This surface slipperiness is effective in production and prevents welding and stretching in some cases.
Features of stretch phosphate
1- Reduce friction: Its main property is to reduce friction between the metal and the tool.
2- Improve formability: Allows the metal to take on complex shapes without cracking or tearing.
3- Increase tool life: By reducing friction, the life of forming tools also increases.
4- Improve surface quality: The final surface of parts with tensile phosphating has better surface quality.
Application
It is widely used in various industries such as the production of automotive parts, home appliances, etc. that require precise, high-quality forming processes.
